Therapy that Nurtures your Nervous System

Affirming therapy tailored for neurodivergence, trauma, attachment wounds, and navigating life’s challenges.

About Me

My name is Tiffany Gloeckler (MSW, RSW), and I support adults navigating the challenges life presents: trauma, grief, stress, life transitions, workplace issues, relationship and communication concerns, new diagnoses, and the complexities of being human. During difficult times, it’s common to feel disconnected from yourself or others and uncertain about where to turn. You don’t have to navigate this journey alone.

My approach is shaped by both professional training and personal experience. Growing up with a chronic illness and later being diagnosed with ADHD and ASD in adulthood, I understand what it feels like to navigate systems that may not be designed for you. These experiences inform my practice, which is grounded in empathy, nuance, and deep respect for each person’s unique story.

I believe therapy is most effective when you feel understood, not judged or pressured to explain or prove yourself. While I can’t promise to understand every experience, I commit to curiosity over judgment, transparency, and creating a collaborative space where your autonomy and goals remain central.

I offer therapy for individual adults, with sessions available in-person in Edmonton and online across Alberta.

Specialties

ADHD, ASD & Neurodiversity

Affirming support for neurodivergent adults, whether newly diagnosed, exploring assessment, or navigating daily challenges. Therapy is tailored to your processing style and nervous system, emphasizing clarity, regulation, sustainability, and autonomy.

Trauma & Past Experiences

When past experiences influence emotional or physical responses, such as shutdown, overwhelm, intrusive memories, or difficulty feeling safe. Experiential therapies like EMDR and Coherence Therapy facilitate deeper processing to promote healing beyond mere symptom management.

Burnout, Chronic Stress & Emotional Exhaustion

Support for those feeling depleted, numb, irritable, or overwhelmed. Therapy focuses on recovery from long-term stress while addressing the strain on the nervous system and coping mechanisms that develop over time.

Nervous System Overwhelm & Anxiety

For individuals who feel constantly on edge, overstimulated, shut down, or unable to settle fully. Somatic and experiential approaches help you understand your nervous system and gradually build capacity for regulation and safety.

Practical Tools for Emotional Regulation

For clients seeking concrete strategies to manage emotions, distress, and interpersonal challenges. Tools are collaboratively integrated and paced to ensure nervous system safety.

Not Sure Where to Start?

You don’t need a specific concern or label to begin therapy. Many clients feel stuck, disconnected, or uncertain about their issues. I support a wide range of concerns, and together we can explore what’s happening and determine the most helpful support.

Yes! I provide secure, virtual therapy sessions for clients across Alberta. You can meet with me from the comfort of your home or another private, confidential space.

Many major insurers are accepted, including Alberta Blue Cross, ASEBP, Canada Life, GreenShield, Medavie (Veterans Affairs), Manulife, Chambers of Commerce, and ClaimSecure. If your insurer isn’t listed, I can provide receipts you can submit for reimbursement.

Frequency is flexible. Some clients benefit from weekly or biweekly sessions, while others meet monthly or as needed. Together, we’ll find a rhythm that fits your goals, schedule, and needs.

Sometimes! I may suggest exercises, coping tools, or reflective work between sessions, but only if it’s helpful and you want to try it. Therapy is collaborative, and you always have choice over what you work on outside of sessions.

  • 50-minute session: $220
  • 80-minute session: $330
Payment is due at the time of the session. Direct billing to eligible insurers is available.

Unless there is an emergency, my agency requires at least 48 hours’ notice if possible. This allows me to offer the time to another client. Missed sessions without notice may be charged at the full rate.

That’s completely normal. The first session can be exploratory — a chance to see if the process feels helpful and if we’re a good fit. There’s no pressure to commit beyond that.

Every session is collaborative. We’ll focus on your goals, experiences, and needs. Some sessions may involve deeper emotional work, while others focus on coping skills, clarity, or grounding. Sessions are flexible and adapted week by week based on what is most helpful to you.
